THE No.1 COUNTRY IN QUALITY OF LIFE

Presently the best and easiest way to immigrate to Canada is through the international student process.  Here at NACEA we can prepare you for the mandatory IELTS academic exam, you will need to obtain the level to apply for your student permit.

If you do not speak English at all and want to study in Canada as an international student one of our education agents will be happy to register you in one of our many English pathway programs or one of our French pathways if you are interested in living in Quebec and studying French. Presently at TSOM and Niagara College Toronto (NCT) eligible students can receive up to 6 months of FREE (terms and conditions apply) online English classes, before transitioning into their on-campus diploma or graduate programs. Students who register for NCT’s September 2022 – September 2023 intakes will receive FULL reimbursement of their online English classes, once they are enrolled at NCT. What a wonderful opportunity to start your life in Canada.

The international student program in Canada is the best way to get to Canada. We are the only English-speaking country that offers permanent residence to international students after graduation and work experience.  You will need to register for a career course at one of our many colleges that suit your vocational plans and your budget.

After you choose the course, you will need to an English level proficiency test (it’s free) to see your level of English or a separate one for French.  If you don’t need to study English or French because you already speak the languages, you will only need to show your IELTS academic test results or the Duolingo for some schools for English or in French the TEF or the TCF.  Depending on the course you choose you will need a 5, 6 or 6.5 pass mark in the IELTS academic to register for your career course if you don’t study English with the pathway course first.  Similar test results for French.

If you are an English speaker and wish to apply for college you must write the IELTS and we at NACEA can help you pass the IELTS with one of our many specialized IELTS training courses taught by one of our certified native English-speaking English teachers online from anywhere in the world.  please browse through the courses and see what you’re interested in click on any logo on this site.

While you attend college or university in Canada as an international student you are allowed to work part-time 20 hours per week or full time, up to 48 hours per week during vacations (May to September usually) and the coop or internship work period.  While you study, depending on the course you study you will be expected to find (some schools help you find the job) a job that has anything to do with your career course to test your abilities.  Canada has many available jobs and we are presently enjoying one of the best markets for job opportunities.  It was recently published that there are 1 million available jobs in Canada right now.  What a great time to come to Canada!  you are allowed to be paid at these jobs and those jobs, depending on your performance can turn into a full-time permanent job for you.  When you graduate from a public college in Canada you will be awarded an open work permit from 1 -3 years depending on how long your career course was (8 months courses which are 2 semesters four months each and are considered 1-year courses) if your course is a 1-year course your post-graduate open work permit will be valid for one year.  If you study a course for two years your post-graduate work permit will be for 3 years.  Once you have either worked or studied in Canada for two years you become eligible for permanent residence.

Only graduating from a public Canadian college can make you eligible for a post-graduate work permit in Canada.  However, a private college which usually has much lower tuition fees can be your stepping stone into Canada and they can assist you with a coop or internship job that can turn into a permanent job offer,  also, remember as an international student even at a private college you can work 20 hours a week and full time during coop and vacation and save more money to later attend a public college working towards your open post-graduate work permit to gain your Canadian work experience and apply for permanent residence in Canada.

There are other rules in the application for a permanent residence called the express entry and the Canadian experience class such as age, the existence of immediate family in Canada, English or French or both fluency, work experience and permanent job offer approved by the Canadian government with a labour market impact assessment.

Click on one of your colleges here on our website and you can see the many programs.  If you need help choosing, which we recommend simply send us an email at nacea@naceacanada.com or a WhatsApp message at +1-416-820-5607 and we can book you a free consultation appointment about choosing courses.  You can get help in English or Spanish.
